about us.

We are a traveling production, documentary and journalism company creating projects to help people and our world. 

Our current projects include The Stories of Our Elders, an inside into everyday stories that grand parents want their grand children to hear. We are currently looking for funding to complete this project throughout the United States. 

A project soon to start is Portraits of The American People, a print book. Images and stories of intriguing people in the US.

Our team.

Carlos Chiossone
Photographer / Director
Over the course of 25 years, my photography career has encompassed a wide range of subjects, capturing individuals from the realms of entertainment, business, sports, and those facing challenging circumstances. Through my work, I strive to showcase their unique qualities and personalities, and has led to successful collaborations in creating impactful ad campaigns and being featured in many publications.

For over a decade, I also worked as a Creative Director, honing my skills in overseeing and guiding creative projects. More recently, I have dedicated my time to humanitarian efforts, volunteering for disaster relief, which has been incredibly fulfilling.

As a perpetual dreamer, I constantly seek new ideas and strive to stay ahead of the times. This mindset has contributed to my success as an award-winning storyteller, with a particular interest in exploring the diverse individuals who inhabit our planet.

Mike Watts
Director / Producer / Writer
Over the past 15 years, I have amassed extensive experience producing documentary and commercial projects for a diverse array of publications, networks, and corporate clients. Initially based in Los Angeles, I focused on producing and directing biographical and political stories. Subsequently, during my time in Seattle, I shifted my career towards creating nature films.

Currently, the bulk of my work centers around anthropological stories, delving into the cultures of various communities across the globe. This specialization aligns seamlessly with my personal and professional interests, making working with TheRoadAhead an ideal fit for me.



Marjory McKenna
As a journalist, I have produced stories around the world, covering a wide range of topics from war assignments and natural disasters to conducting interviews with public figures in remote locations. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a keen interest in nature, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to thrive in various environments, including my current residence in New York City.

Portraits of the American People

Audience

The targeted audience is vast, as the demographics of people will be diverse: all ages, sexual orientations, religions and races. Veterans, doctors, families, teachers, firefighters, investors, drivers, if their story has value it will be featured, and along the way many will be able to also convey your brand’s message. There will be a flavor for every type of audience.

Whether its content created exclusively for you, or the branding exposure created by our own media channels, your brand loyalty needs will be covered.

Exposure

The project has many avenues of exposure, primarily generating a following via YouTube, Instagram and similar social media platforms, by using short-form content pieces where the sponsoring brand would be mentioned. Our social media and PR agency expects that within the first month this project would gain significant interest. Subsequently, after enough material has been uploaded, the agency would start promoting it with a target of 200,000 followers by the end of the third month. After the 200,000 mark, an organic growth would continue, and an audience would have been created. At this point PR will kick in promoting the travel project and securing interviews in different towns/cities with major media networks to increase our exposure. The objective is for the following to reach into the millions, mainly due to the enormity and substance of the project.

Your brand will be exposed to a very large audience. From credits on our videos for social media and networks, ie. “Thanks to ____, for making this possible”, to mentions on all our social media platforms, book series and final book. The exposure is permanent and vast, and the brand will be associated with the creation of a compelling piece of contemporary culture.

How

With my connections around the country, and my producer making contacts from NYC, we will set appointments with local communities to gather information about those with a great story or life. Additionally, permission from the town would be requested to park our van in a central location where everyone can come by and have their portrait taken. As we proceed with portraits, we can find those people who are eloquent and may have a story to tell.

Sponsors

Each of our art projects requires funding, and thanks to people like you, we can make them possible. 

Projects such as the print book will require $30-40K to be completed, and likely will generate over $100K. The Story of Our Elders is looking for an investment of $30-50K, and has projections of generating over $250K.  

All of these projects will have vast social media exposure through YouYube, Instagram and other similar social media avenues. All contributors will be exposed to our audiences, where and for how long will depend on the size of the contribution.

Brand Example

Let’s use Mercedes Benz as an example as that is one of the vans being considered to drive. Not only would they be contributing to our project, but as mentioned before, they would be mentioned as one of our sponsors throughout the series of books and TV segments. That alone has a value of millions of impressions. Additionally, we could interview people in different places with our Mercedes Benz Sprinter in the back, ask them about their experience and perhaps a story. In the case of Mercedes Benz, I would also be filming and photographing the Sprinter in memorable locations. And likely will always be part of the interviews as the “van” is the key concept for people to find us during our trips.
