On Tuesday, August 22nd, SAG-AFTRA and WGA united in front of the Amazon Headquarters in NYC, alongside numerous unions spanning various industries nationwide but specially those in the industry. This event marks a National Day of Solidarity, where hundreds of supporters showed up, covering the entire block 4 to 5 lanes deep. Throughout this period, laborers across the country are actively advocating for equitable contracts, improved remuneration, secure working environments, and safeguards against AI. This collective effort serves as a powerful demonstration to corporate entities that our determination will win at the end.
